Matt is a storyteller. He works in the communications team at Demos Helsinki, helping to craft the narrative needed for transformative change. From distilling the complex into the digestible to making the abstract actionable, Matt’s work ranges from project-specific support to organizational level, and strategic communications, setting forth a compelling vision for future action.
With deep experience in training and facilitation, community building, PR and marketing with global brands, start-ups and NGOs, Matt brings a breadth of learnings that inform his daily work at Demos Helsinki. Matt currently sits on Demos Helsinki’s Board of Directors.
Outside of work, Matt is usually found in nature. From running, cross-country skiing or ice skating to ultra-Marathon-like distances, to just rambling in the forest, Matt’s connection to the outdoors serves as both self-restoration and inspiration.
