As a generalist with an academic background in sociology, they combine the analytical rigour of a researcher with the drive of an activist. Her mission? To create a joyful future that starts today.
With experience in applied social science research at the University of Tartu and strategic consulting at DD Foundation, Meri is well-versed in both research and real-world problem-solving. Her close ties to NGOs and social movements, alongside her work as a facilitator, have honed her skills in guiding collaborative efforts.
Currently, Meri is working on research projects such as TANDEM and Nets4Dem, exploring the intersections of democracy and innovation.
After-hours, you can find Meri either at an independent cinema, cooking up her signature plant-based Pad Thai, or doing a variety of sports — be it water-jogging or bouldering, she’s in! Especially if there’s a promise of food afterwards.
