Innovation Camp was designed for the Finnish Government’s top-level civil servants as part of the Future Leaders course commissioned by the Ministry of Finance. The camp focused on capacity-building of future leaders in the public sector, and it offered them innovation tools and a space to reflect on 21st Century leadership requirements.
During the camp, the leaders formed teams and tackled governance challenges in a 3.5 day marathon. The teams utilised design methods to redefine challenges, they engaged in backcasting and mapping of drivers of short-termism. Finally, each team designed their own experiment with the assistance of Demos’ expert facilitators.
