Roosa Laakso

As part of the Regerative Localities team at Demos Helsinki, Roosa applies her expertise in multidisciplinary collaboration and sustainability governance expertise in practice.

Roosa has a background in the public sector and has previously worked with the national and international implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals at the Prime Minister’s Office and at the Permanent Mission of Finland to the United Nations in New York. She is currently completing her master’s degree in Creative Sustainability at Aalto University, where her thesis focuses on Finnish state organizations’ sustainability reporting.

At Demos Helsinki, Roosa currently works with the REALLOCATE project focused on transforming streets into inclusive, green and safe places.

In her free time, Roosa enjoys attending and hosting book clubs, supper clubs, and film clubs with her friends.
