Sofia is here to help you to navigate sustainability challenges with creative and practical approaches. With a background in arts and business, she combines her passion for transformative initiatives with a strategic mindset. Her ability to organise and collaborate ensures that projects achieve optimal outcomes.
Currently, Sofia is deepening her expertise through the Creative Sustainability master’s program at Aalto University Business School, where she explores how the EU Taxonomy influences strategic decision-making in the forest-based bioeconomy sector.
Before joining Demos Helsinki, Sofia worked with Helsinki Pride and the Nuoret 2023 Exhibition, where she excelled in project management and organising collaborations between diverse partners. Her extensive experience in events and project management is supported by a strong academic foundation, including minors in accounting and a prior master’s degree in Arts Management.
In her free time, you can find Sofia chasing after her one-year-old sweetheart or exploring nature through hiking. She’s also an active participant in politics but prefers to keep it as a hobby. A master organiser, Sofia can arrange anything from socks to events and Excel sheets with ease.
