Sara Pynttäri

Sara is the latest addition to our dynamic communications team. At Demos Helsinki, she ensures the smooth running of our website and helps shape communication practices that are more intuitive, engaging, and meaningful.

With a BA in Communications and Interaction and a MSSc in International Relations, Sara brings a broad, analytical lens to societal questions. Having previously worked with communications in the public sector and with AI-related research topics at Tampere University, she carries valuable knowledge that is currently being leveraged in the FORSEE project. Sara is passionate about creating spaces for mutual understanding and imagining visions for a better future.

After hours, you might find Sara solving crossword puzzles, attending a pilates class, or setting up a tent in a national park. Being a synesthete, her favourite party trick is to analyse the colour of other people’s names.
