Nele gets excited about governance! She is intrigued in how theoretical ideas can be translated into practice in order to contribute to democratisation processes and more innovative governance.
Before joining Demos Helsinki, Nele worked in a project that aimed to transform learning structures and environments at the University of Applied Sciences, Münster. Being a master’s student of International and European Governance, her background lies in political science with a fascination for political philosophy.
At Demos Helsinki, Nele works with strategic foresight in public decision-making and mission oriented governance. She has been working in several UNDP projects focusing on foresight capacity building and urban transformation.
Nele spends her afternoon break trying to find the best chocolate bar in Finland. The jury is still out!
