Miriam Bensky is a Senior Consultant in the Governance Innovation team at Demos Helsinki. Her work focuses on reimagining public governance and collective futures. Miriam works with public institutions and impact-oriented organizations to future-proof their policies, processes, and capabilities.

Miriam’s background is in international crisis management, conflict resolution, and the aid sector. Her experience includes working with the United Nations in New York and Kabul, the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue in Geneva, as well as diverse social enterprises and NGOs. She has advised public, private, and nonprofit organizations on crisis preparedness, strategic planning, and change management
Miriam holds a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
