Jenny Mäki works in the Regenerative Infrastructure team.


At Demos Helsinki she is currently working as a Project Coordinator in the TOKEN Project and is focusing on the role of technology in society and public services. Her professional interests include:


  • A fair and equal society, especially the relationship between gender and law
  • Technology and its possibilities and challenges in promoting social inclusion and equality
  • The future of democracy


Prior to working as a Project Coordinator Jenny was an intern at Demos Helsinki. She has also gained professional expertise as a Legal Trainee at the Parliament of Finland where she prepared reports within Parliament dealing with various areas of both national and international legislation. Jenny also has worked as an Intern at the Permanent Mission of Finland to the UN in Geneva where she concentrated on arms control and human rights. Jenny holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Helsinki and is currently finalizing her Masters. Jenny also studies Politics and Communications at the University of Helsinki.


In her free time, Jenny likes to go to the gym and spend weekend mornings reading magazines and drinking coffee.
