Our current system is built on continuous growth, whether it concerns profits, wages, or tax revenue. Suddenly, we find ourselves in a situation where this progress is interrupted. At the same time, ecological reconstruction is even more urgently needed. It must not stop, even when economic growth takes a halt due to a pandemic. This crisis must be seen as an opportunity to create a new, more sustainable, economic way of acting.
Our approach to our new strategy services tackles all the aspects of sustainable business.
1. Enabling the systemic change. Agree that tackling climate warming is a key business priority. Understand what would be the maximum positive systemic impact the company can make.
2. Shape industry practices. Taking leadership in forming industry coalitions that push for the change (e.g. decarbonization) of the industry.
3. Affect customers. Help customers live more sustainably by offering products and services that transform customers and enable the customers to affect their societal and material footprint
4. Improve own activities. A company can directly have an impact by changing its own operations, leadership culture and capabilities to accelerate change.
